Educational Posters

Contained within is a colation of projects the designer has successfuly colmpleted.  The Print Design projects contain all of the designers own images.  Even Milo & Frankie can be seen on the front covers of books and within the pages of guide books.  InDesign is a wonderful program to set up a multi page layout.  The manipulation that can be done just brings the designs to life with such professionalism.

Postcards are a wonderful promotional tool for businesses and can really call someone to action.

Who ever said a dachshund could not be put on a beer can? Even if it’s not a very friendly dog, it still looks great.  Dachshunds on t-shirts, what a way to get someone to rescue a dog!  There is lots you can do when you have Photoshop at your finger tips.

Business stationary: business cards, letterhead, compliments slip, retail promotional items like t-shirts, caps – all possible as you can see from the projects below.

The designer for SH Design can help with a range of creatives – even website design.  Take a closer look at some of the amazing projects completed so far.

All it takes is collaboration, an imagination and inspiration.  It would be great to be involved in a great cause!

This designer has been working for more than two years creating presentation slides for large format projector screens, posters, flyers, posts for social media and organisational newsletters.  Check out all the new content now available to show what this designer can do.  See the button below to view an eBook of the design process this designer goes through from concept to final design.

The sermon series graphic images for Grace in the Genealogy was my first experimentation with Monica AI.  Since we have no idea of what the people in the Bible looked like, there was no option but to ask Monica to help me with some images.  Monica AI scanned the big wide world web and came up with 8 seperate images (I asked that the images be drawn in pencil).  I then had the challenging task of trying to arrange all eight people onto a slide.  Finding the typography to match took about 8 or 9 Artboards.  Lucky for me my boss has quite an eye and as usual she had the honourable task of choosing which Artboard to run with.

I have collated my graphic design process in an eBook to show what steps I take to get to the final design.  It can take anywhere between 8 Artboards to 14.  The concept ideas are endless.

When I was studying to be a designer way back in 2023…

I had two very special rescued dogs at my feet…

Milo & Frankie were naughty enough to make it onto a t-shirt and hoodie…rats, rats, dirty rats.  They were lots of hard work but putting them on a t-shirt or hoodie helped me get through those very hard days.  Frankie is still with us and still sits at my feet when I design at home.  She keeps me relaxed enough to keep the ideas flowing or fix a technical issue preventing design.

Life is t-shirt design

T-shirt design is one of the constant evolving passions of this designer.  It started with a Nike – Just Do it! t-shirt.  Once you’re versed in design, you see the world very differently.  When I am out and about I notice graphic tees with good and bad typography.  For this particular t-shirt idea I had a t-shirt with a graphic vector image and then much later I found this quote of loved and so put the two together.

This t-shirt embodies my moto in life:

Life is

10% what you make it

90% how you take it

Love those who treat you right

Pray for those who don’t

To the person behind me - t-shirt design

This t-shirt design idea was also obtained from a Nike – Just do it! hoodie.  I loved the quote but not the graphic vector design or colour of the hoodie.  Well, Nike almost got it right but not quite.  For days I walked around not knowing how to solve this design or colour problem.  Then I thought, “Why not design my own shirt with a much better vector image and the colour I want”.  Being a designer I can do that.  It’s supposed to make the person behind me laugh and they do.  That rediculous small little dachshund could never hold a weighted barbell in his tiny little mouth.  Besides dachshunds are always a bit mouthy, thinking they are bigger than they actually are.  What a simple design with just two elements.
